At it-sa 2026, from October 27 to 29, IntraFind will demonstrate how companies and government agencies securely use generative AI on their own organizational knowledge. In Hall 7 at Booth 7-456, the specialist in enterprise search and artificial intelligence will present its enterprise AI platform for the secure and controlled use of sensitive information. The focus is on permission-aware access to organizational knowledge, traceable AI responses, governance, and digital sovereignty.

Generative AI makes information easier to access and enables organizations to use their knowledge more efficiently - but it also presents organizations with new questions: What data may AI applications use? What information is a user allowed to see? Where is data processed? And how can an AI response be traced back to its sources? IntraFind addresses these challenges with a unified platform for enterprise search, generative AI, and AI assistants that consistently enforces existing access permissions.

The platform accesses information across a wide range of organizational data sources and provides people, chatbots, and AI applications with a controlled knowledge base. Users receive only information and AI responses from content that they are authorized to access. iFinder provides centralized search across distributed data repositories. Building on this, the iAssistant uses Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to deliver answers and summaries with traceable source references. In addition, the iHub enables the controlled use of generative AI in various work processes. 

The solutions can be operated on-premises, in sovereign cloud environments, or in a hybrid setup, allowing companies and government agencies to retain control over data, models, and the operating environment—without exposing sensitive information to external models or services in an uncontrolled manner. IntraFind is also certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The approach is particularly aimed at government agencies, critical infrastructure operators (KRITIS), and regulated companies that want to leverage existing knowledge for AI applications without undermining their authorization and governance structures.
